I bought my original jet ski way back in ’04 when my family and I began vacationing on the lake. I got to thinking about the trailer that carried the ski and remember saying that they’re standard and would have been a lot better with a few improvements made to them. It was when I got home that I decided to make my own personal customised jetski trailer. It will include things that I wanted rather than what a jet ski manufacturer wanted me to have. So what did I feature in my custom trailer?
Solid Checker Plate Bottom
I developed a checker plate floor for the trailer in the first place. Being rust proof was obviously a major point but it enabled me to maintain items underneath the jet ski which would normally be in the car for example life jackets, ski ropes etc.
Side Steps
I wasn’t interested in standing on the frame to reach the craft so I developed some powerful side steps to make access to the jet ski less difficult.
Choice of Colour
I didn’t want a bland looking jet ski trailer so I produced a couple of them and coated one white and the other black to fit with the colour of one of my jet skis. This monster looked superb.
Jerry Can Holder
This made sense in my opinion to add a fuel can holder. Having the jerry can near by made refuelling simple.
Jockey Wheel and Winch
I found the very best on the market to make sure I wasn’t changing these essential components too much. They had to be sturdy and last and that is what we use on all our jetski trailers.
